Arts Council grants provide funding to support arts programming, performances, projects and exhibits in Erie County. Applications are accepted annually and funds are distributed on a competitive grant basis.

Applicants may apply for Programming Support and/or Project grants, depending on eligibility. The review of grant applications and the allocation of funds are conducted by an independent allocations panel with ratification by the Arts Council Board of Trustees.

 

Which Grant is Right for You?

  • Programming Support grants support organizations that produce and present arts and cultural exhibits. Only organizations currently funded by the United Arts Fund may apply at this time. New applicants will be considered in July 2008 after completing a Verification of Eligibility form.

DEADLINE: September 30, 2007*

  • Project Grants provide between $500 and $5,000 to support various community arts projects in Erie County. See specific eligibilty requirements in the Project Grants section.

DEADLINE: August 31, 2007

 

*PLEASE NOTE: Starting in 2008, the deadline will be August 31.

 
 


New Grants Now Available!

Erie Arts Endowment grants have been replaced by new Arts Council of Erie Project grants. Applications will only be accepted once a year. Deadline for submission is August 31, 2007!

There will be no August 15 Endowment grant cycle, and grant applications will no longer be accepted in February.
