How to sign up for calls:

1. Go to www.artscounciloferie.org.
2. On the left side of the screen, click on “UAF Solicitors”.
3. In the middle of screen, click on “UAF Solicitor Database”.
4. Enter your first name as your “User Name” and your last name as your “Password” and click on “Enter”.
5. The page that pops up will have three buttons: “Select Calls”, “Report Status” and “Logout”. Click on “Select Calls” and a long list of companies will appear. The first group will be “Companies With Giving History” and the second half includes “Companies Without Giving History”.
6. Check the box to the right of at least 4 companies that you’d like to call on and click on “Submit”.
7. The “Confirm Selection” page will appear showing the list of companies you selected. Confirm your selection by clicking on “Submit” again, or use your browser’s “Back” button to change your selection.
8. If you are looking for a particular company and can’t locate it, contact Mary Lou at the Arts Council to determine if the company has already been selected.
9. Packets with information about your call selections will be given to you.

How to inform the Arts Council of the status of your calls:

1. Click on “Report Status”, which will provide you a list of your selections. Click on a selected company to bring up its “Contact Status Report”.
2. The “Contact Status Report” lists the name and address of the business at the top of the page, as well as your name as solicitor. On the left side of the page, the company’s giving history for this year and last year is listed.
3. The “Solicitor Status” form on the right side of the page has appropriate fields for you to notate donor response (i.e. verbal pledge, pending, made contact, no contribution and other update). Input the appropriate information and click on “Submit”. This information will be uploaded to the Arts Council.
4. Repeat the process for each of your selections.
5. The “Previous Status Report” will initially be blank. As information about the call is submitted, the details of previous contact you’ve had will be transferred to this section by the Arts Council staff.
6. Once finished, click on “Logout”.

Team Captain Reports (only available to team captains):

1. Click on “Open Captain’s Report”. The report lists detailed information on the progress on each selected solicitation for captains, leaders, and callers.
2. Please review at least once a week and follow up with your solicitors.
3. Please call Mary Lou at 452-3427 with any questions or comments.

New Grants Now Available!

Erie Arts Endowment grants have been replaced by new Arts Council of Erie Project grants. Applications will only be accepted once a year. Deadline for submission is August 31, 2007!

There will be no August 15 Endowment grant cycle, and grant applications will no longer be accepted in February.
